LEGAL NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that three Public Hearings will be held before the Moore County Planning Board at 6:00 pm on Thursday, November 3, 2022, in the Board of Commissioners’ Meeting Room located on the second floor of the Historic Courthouse, Carthage, NC for the following purpose:
Cellco Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless is requesting a Conditional Rezoning from Rural Agricultural (RA) to Rural Agricultural Conditional Zoning (RA-CZ) to construct a 255’ antenna support structure for a Wireless Communication Facility on an approximately 0.23-acre portion of one parcel of approximately 31.19 acres located on NC 705 Highway, owned by Harold & Catherine Hussey, per Deed Book 4901 Page 210 and further described as ParID 20170458 in Moore County Tax Records.
Tough Stump Technologies, LLC and Sandhills Building Systems, Inc are requesting a Conditional Rezoning from Residential and Agricultural–40 (RA-40) to Highway Commercial/Conditional Zoning (B-2/CZ) for an office and training facility on approximately 9.58 acres located on Vass-Carthage Road, owned by Tough Stump Technologies, LLC, per Deed Book 5868 Page 385, Plat Cabinet 19 Slide 439 and further described as ParID 20170361 in Moore County Tax Records.
Streetsmart Storage Vass, LLC is seeking a Special Non-residential Intensity Allocation (SNIA) to increase the maximum built-upon area to 60.9% on two adjacent properties located at 5420 and 5418 US 1 Hwy, owned by Streetsmart Storage Vass LLC per Deed Book 5248 Page 571, and further described as ParID 00039767 and 00032658 in Moore County Tax Records, to construct seven (7) new storage buildings and install driveways.
Information pertaining to the proposed actions is available for inspection in the Moore County Planning & Inspections office at 1048 Carriage Oaks Drive, Carthage, NC 28327 during normal business hours (8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday). Changes may be made in the application that reflect information presented at the hearing.
